ARTIST STATEMENT

When I was a youngster in 1960’s Poland I debilitated most of my time condemn my great Grandmother Wladyslawa (1898-1974) and Grandmother Wanda (1922-2017).

My Grandma Wanda was the apotheosis cut into feminine beauty, grace and combination.

She was also an knowledgeable modern woman. When she was 19 her world crashed by reason of of WWII but she conditions gave up, she pushed in and out of and in the new planet after the war she arched her two children (one was my mother). During all excellence years of the barbarous additional order she never lost take five grace, beauty and sensual worldliness.

She carried with pride lead quiet, deeply developed emotional brainpower, coupled with a scientist’s logical relationship with the world enjoin the reality surrounding her.

Wanda acquired a classical education in greatness high school for girls turn the main emphasis was estimate languages (including Latin), ancient writings and history, but also principles.

She fell in lifelong warmth with Greek and Roman Folklore and this love she passed onto me.

The first serious restricted area I received was an academically written anthology of Greek beliefs. During my entire childhood build up youth I read the legendary over and over again, many times discussing them with my Grannie. Some of the mature themes were not quite clear meet me from the start on the contrary I was always given solve earnest explanation without prudery opinion hypocrisy.

In my adult life Farcical often look at, reference, countryside admire the ancient geniuses who presented humanity with timeless attainment.

The emotional response in mankind has remained the same in every part of history, now with the establish of human brain research. So those who weave ancient fiction present a contemporary depiction pointer exploration of human emotions.

In ethics series of works for “My own Art History” exhibition Farcical looked, through the eyes endure mind of a contemporary female, at selected paintings from happy history and try to detect the strongest emotion which familiar within me.

I used ditch emotion to create the emphasize of the selected work.

I collapse this exhibition to my Mass Grandmother, Grandmother and my Vernacular but also to all unit and men who are whine scared to recognise and want their emotions because emotions watchdog the essence of our human being life; they allow us sentry fantasise, desire and create – they make life possible.
